ColdFusion 7 cfdocument and Flash Paper

Picture of Irv Owens Web DeveloperJust something new about the blog. I saw another blog with the ability to generate flash-paper printouts of the blog entries. I thought, “That is really cool, I want to do that.” So I did. Now inbetween the navigation on each blog, you will notice a print button. It may be a little buggy for the first few days while I play around with it, but it is and will remain fully functional.

Flashpaper is way cool. It is so much faster than PDF for the same thing. I certainly hope that Adobe doesn't kill off Flashpaper. I like that everything, including any associated styles, between the cfdocument tags gets rendered properly, even the CSS 2 page-break-after attribute. Man ColdFusion 7 is cool. I only wonder why my old hosting company hasn't taken it for a spin yet. I'd encourage everyone to get on their hosting companies to upgrade, and if they won't then just change to one that has CF7!
